Well, Ace Journeyman and the Idaho Vandals have picked up a few wins, but they were all of the non-conference variety. We blew out Idaho State in the home opener, edged the WMU Broncos in a defensive slug-fest, and went on the road in the rain and shut-out the San Diego State Aztecs. However, along the way, we lost in overtime, on the road, to the Utah State Aggies, the only conference game so far. Take into consideration that Utah State is a WAC bottom dweller, and it does not bode well for the Vandals the rest of the way. Maybe the dome will give us enough of an edge at home to split the rest of the season and get us to our 6-win goal.
