Suzanne Yoculan is the greatest coach in the history of Georgia athletics and she went out on a high note last night. This is the program's 10th title overall, and they won it by scoring their 2nd-highest score of the year to top 'Bama (the gym tide?). Yet Andy Landers and not Yoculan has already been admitted to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
ReplyDeleteLanders would have to be 2nd on the all-time, all-sport, UGA list. As far as the HoF, is gymnastics even old enough to have nominees yet?
ReplyDeleteGood question. Sources say she's not in b/c of a personal relationship. Also, I was by no means alleging Landers should not be in the Hall.
