Hit-and-Running Back

Washaun Ealey was arrested this morning for a minor hit-and-run accident in a UGA parking deck this morning. How early? About 3am. That's crazy suspicious. But, according to the report, there were no injuries and no alcohol involved. The reason he was arrested instead of simply cited was...take a guess...a suspended license. In reality, it's not that big of a deal and should garner about a one game suspension unless more info is uncovered. It's more a matter of stupid decisions than criminal intent or genuine character flaws. One caller on the local morning show compared Ealey to former UGA QB Zach Mettenberger, which is just ridiculous. Sexual assault is way worse than bumping the fender of a pickup truck in a cramped parking deck. Even if Ealey resolves all of his legal/insurance issues and there's no suspension demanded for the arrest, I'd at least sit him a game if I was Richt, simply for being so careless so close to the season. Needless to say, Georgia will now most definitely be crowned Fulmer Cup Champs.
