That's exactly what some people were saying last night. I was surprised but not shocked. Shannon's been struggling with in-state games the whole time he's been at Miami.
I hate it for Shannon. He really cleaned that place up - it's not his fault the ACC's a dying league. The academic and criminal record in Coral Gables is the cleanest it's been since the 70's.
And, to be fair, Florida is a difficult place to be right now, considering the relative heft of FSU, UF, and South Florida. All of these teams make it difficult to recruit in-state.
