Is Randy Shannon done in Miami?

Might be. I wonder if Richt would be interested.

UPDATE: Yes, he is done in Miami. Crank up the carousel and old on to your coaches...

  1. That's exactly what some people were saying last night. I was surprised but not shocked. Shannon's been struggling with in-state games the whole time he's been at Miami.

  2. Oh, and I meant to say, "I certainly hope Richt's not interested in the Miami job."

  3. I hate it for Shannon. He really cleaned that place up - it's not his fault the ACC's a dying league. The academic and criminal record in Coral Gables is the cleanest it's been since the 70's.

Oh well, let Petrino bail on Arkansas for Miami.

  4. I would love to see Petrino go to The U. Arkansas looks scary right now.

And, to be fair, Florida is a difficult place to be right now, considering the relative heft of FSU, UF, and South Florida. All of these teams make it difficult to recruit in-state.
